Northwest is not among the scores of public universities that decided to operate primarily online this academic year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In doing so, the University may have saved itself from cuts to faculty or staff, among other things, to make ends meet.

COVID-19 vaccine distribution: nearly 700 were administered at a mass clinic

The first mass vaccination clinic held by Mosaic Medical Center - Maryville, the University and Nodaway County Health Department successfully vaccinated roughly 700 Maryville residents with 500 Pfizer vaccines.
